The week view: cook nights, two leftover nights and a busy night

Made for the week you actually have

Most meal plans fall apart by Wednesday. This one is planned around your Wednesday.

  • Busy Tuesday? That night gets the easiest dinner, or the slow cooker.
  • Leftover nights are planned. An earlier night cooks extra, on purpose.
  • Allergies stay out, sauces and seasoning mixes included. Still check packaged-food labels.
  • Inside your budget, with the week's estimated total shown against it, honestly.
  • No repeats. Nothing from your last 2 weeks comes back.
  • Don't fancy one? Swap it for one of 3 new ideas, and the list updates itself.
  • It learns. Rate dinners, and next week leans on what your family loved.

Tested by real families first

Before we built the app, 30 families got hand-made weekly plans from us and told us what worked: the grocery list, the leftover nights, and not having to decide.

Questions families ask

Will it work with our allergies?

Every plan is checked for the allergens you list, sauces and seasoning mixes included, before you see it. Always check the labels on packaged foods: brands change their recipes.

What do I get each week?

About 5 dinners that fit your nights, leftover nights planned, step-by-step recipes and one grocery list sorted by aisle. Planning next week takes a tap and about a minute.

My kids are picky. Will they eat it?

Tell Cookingly the foods they won't eat, and those stay out. Rate each dinner, and next week's plan learns from it.

We're vegetarian (or keto). Does it work?

Yes. Pick vegetarian, pescatarian or vegan, and goals like high protein or keto, and every dinner follows them.

Does it really stay inside my budget?

Each week is priced for your store and planned to fit your budget. If it can't fit, the app tells you plainly and shows the biggest costs. Prices are estimates.

How is this different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT gives you text to sort out yourself. Cookingly remembers what your family rated, plans leftover nights, checks allergens and hands you one list sorted by aisle.

Can I cook for just me?

Yes. Pick "Just me" and every dinner is sized for one.

What does it cost, and how do I cancel?

Yearly is $49.99 with 7 days free, or Monthly is $7. We remind you 2 days before the trial ends, and you cancel in your iPhone Settings.

Is it on Android?

Not yet: iPhone comes first. Leave your email and we'll write once when it launches.

Does it work in the UK?

Yes. UK phones get plans in pounds.

What happens to my answers?

They go to OpenAI to write your plan, without your name or email, and are never used to train AI. More in our Privacy Policy.
Timi, who makes Cookingly

Hi, I'm Timi.

I kept seeing busy mums online, worn out from deciding what to cook every night. I have the same problem with deciding and budgeting my own dinners, so I built Cookingly. I read every email at support@cookingly.app.
